Emerging Artist Space began as a conversation between a mother and son about what the art world was missing. A platform that genuinely championed emerging artists without barriers of geography, background, or budget.

We are Ibrahim and Rukhshanda Tahir, a curator and a director working across continents with one shared mission: to make sure emerging voices are taken seriously.

Ibrahim, a practicing artist and MFA candidate based in New Orleans, leads our curatorial direction from our Saturate open call exhibition to the editorial vision of our digital magazines, In Bloom and Echoes.

Rukhshanda leads outreach, operations, and community growth including our Artist Directory, which gives artists lasting visibility beyond any single exhibition.

What started as an idea became a mission, and that mission became this community not related by blood, but by shared passions and purpose.. We are independent, passion-driven, and growing and we are just getting started.
